Virginia Karavakou is a certified Personal & Executive Coach (AC, EMCC), specialized in the application of Positive Psychology Interventions in private and professional settings. She has recently founded and runs The Flow Coach, a consulting and coaching firm, offering personal development sessions to individuals, as well as coaching services, seminars and tailor-made interventions to organizations and communities in Greece and abroad. She is a member of EMCC and IPPA.
Virginia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Business Administration. She has obtained an AC & EMCC-accredited Diploma in Evidence-based Coaching from the Athens Coaching Institute. She is currently completing her Master of Science in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology (MAPPCP) at the Psychology Department of the University of East London in the UK. She is conducting research in social phenomena, such as the role of Self-Transcendence in motherhood, and is studying the development of interventions against Burn-out in the working environment.
For a decade, Virginia worked in the Financial Industry where she participated in the successful sale of a start-up investment company. Living and working abroad with people from different cultures and mindsets proved a unique, fruitful experience that broadened her horizons.
The creation and mindful devotion to her own family led her to a journey of deeper self-awareness and an increased interest in Psychology. In 2014, she co-founded Joyful Parents, a series of psycho-educational seminars for parents.
Her passion, vision and purpose is the application of Positive and Coaching Psychology Interventions in families, professional settings and local communities, aiming at the promotion of Mental Health and Psychological Well-being at micro and macro social systems.
In her leisure time, Virginia enjoys spending time with her family, playing music, and traveling.
